About Me is run by UEFA A Licence Coach and FA Lead Coach Developer Mick Lewin. Mick has a wealth of experience in education, academy football and coach development and has developed a tailored online and face to face coach and club development programme that will help coaches at all levels develop individually as well as helping their players progress.

Mick has worked as a teacher in the state and independent sector for over 10 years and understands how to relate to and get the best out of boys and girls from reception to sixth form. He has developed school football programmes and won National and International schools competitions as a coach.
During his time in professional football Mick has achieved the Advanced Youth Award in the Foundation Phase and also the UEFA A Licence. His roles have included scouting, Foundation Phase coaching and Youth Development phase player development at 3 professional clubs and has seen players he has worked with play in the Premier League and the English Football League pyramid.

Most recently Mick has worked with the Football Association as a Tutor and has supported 100’s of coaches through their qualifications with classroom based theory workshops, online webinars/CPD and face to face in-situ visits in the coaches own environment. He also recently became a Lead Coach Developer for the newly designed Introduction to Coaching Football qualification that the FA will roll out nationally this season.
